My Dresser 530B wheel loader was leaking coolant around

 · My Dresser 530B wheel loader was leaking coolant around the number 4 cylinder exhaust manifold, blowing white smoke and missing. I changed the head gasket but it still leaks at the same location. The head didn't seem warped and I couldn't see any cracks. A mechanic told me if it was cracked I could see it.

fluid leak between the exhaust manifold and head

 · I have seen a valve valve cause raw fuel to leak from the exhaust manifold. An incomplete burn from one cylinder will cause diesel to saturate the port. I would loosen the exhaust manifold and slide it back a little to see inside. Is it smoking at idle pretty bad? If not I would be leaning toward the head gasket as well.

Losing Antifreeze With No Apparent Leak

Water that does not pass through the exhaust valve and manifold gets compressed by the piston. Coolant is forced past the piston rings and enters the oil crankcase. The coolant mixes with the oil into a brown or cream-colored frothy consistency. The radiator coolant level will drop perceptibly, while the oil level in the crankcase will rise.

Solenoid

Make sure the solenoid valve does not have leaks: Feel and listen to the exhaust port [2] of the solenoid. If there is a constant air releasing from the exhaust port, the internal piston is stuck and releases air through the exhaust port [2] and outlet port [1]. Note: There must never be a constant stream of air from the exhaust port.

Why Does My Coolant Bubble?

Coolant, or antifreeze, is designed to flow smoothly through all of the cooling passages, with no air blockages. A thermostat opens and closes to regulate the coolant flow for engine warm-up and circulation. Air bubbles in the coolant, at the radiator or expansion reservoir, means air has entered the system at some point. This can lead to.

 · take it back to the place that charged your AC. I cant see how thats possible. In order for refrigerant to get into the valve covers, your heater core would have to have a hole in it right next to the evaporator core, then the refrigerant would have to somehow transfer into the cooling system without vaporizing (which it does instantly as soon as its exposed to air), then you would have to.

5 Causes of Antifreeze Leaking

A 50/50 mixture of antifreeze and distilled water flows around the engine during use, keeping it from overheating, so a leak can mean trouble. Eventually the radiator and the reservoir will run dry and lead to the destruction of the engine. While detecting a coolant leak can be difficult, there are a few places to immediately look.

John 425 Engine Issue

 · The valve setting should be checked on a schedule according to the manual. Probably around every 500 hours, just a guess. If a valve sticks open for just for a moment the pushrod easily falls away from the rocker socket. A push rod could get bent because the valve was stuck in the closed position putting more strain on the push rod which bends it.

How to Fix an Automotive Engine Coolant in Oil

 · Engine oil, coolant and automatic transmission fluid are contained and cooled within the radiator and engine oil coolers. Because of engine vibrations and the constant expanding and contracting due to heat gaskets, seals and coolers can leak causing the coolant and oil to mix together which will cause the engine to overheat.
